Introduction

The MA Clinical Psychology (RCI) is a post-graduation program designed to prepare students for careers in clinical mental health assessment, diagnosis, and intervention. Recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), this program adheres to national standards for training competent clinical psychologists capable of delivering evidence-based psychological services. The curriculum combines comprehensive theoretical foundations in psychopathology, psychological assessment, psychotherapy, and rehabilitation with intensive practical training. Students gain hands-on experience through supervised clinical practicum, fieldwork, and internships in diverse settings such as hospitals, rehabilitation centers, community mental health clinics, and special education institutions. This course is recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India, New Delhi .

Admission is based on an entrance process conducted by the Selection Committee, including a written test (70%) and a personal interview (30%). The written test evaluates subject knowledge and analytical skills, while the interview assesses communication and suitability for clinical training. Final selection is based on combined performance. Pannadhay University follows the curriculum and subject structure as per the guidelines and standards prescribed by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) for Clinical Psychology programs.

The program includes comprehensive theoretical papers covering core areas such as psychopathology, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychotherapy, psychological assessment, and research methodology.

In addition to theory, the curriculum emphasizes practical training, including psychological testing, case history taking, diagnosis, and therapeutic interventions under supervision.
